Donald C Thomas III MD
Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer
Donald is a experienced clinician,
specializing in Emergency and Trauma care. Over a period of 17
years, he has worked in Emergency centers treating patient
volumes from 18,000 to 150,000 patients per year. Single and
multiple attending configurations, as well as diverse
geographical locations have broadened and deepened that experience.
In his 22 year history of clinical
management, he has covered the entire physician management
spectrum from Department Chairmanship to Chief Medical Officer
and Associate Director of the of the Los Angeles County Health
Department. He has experienced private and public healthcare
delivery systems, in corporate, academic and community
settings located in urban and rural sites.
As a current Congress of Graduate
Medical Education (COGME) Councilor, he is involved in advising
Congress and the Secretary of Health in matters related to the
structure and function of Graduate Medical Education (GME) in
the United States. He has served on the board and as an
executive committee member of L.A. Care, one of the largest
public HMOs in the country.
He has consulted for 13 years, as an
independent contractor, contract employee and firm principal. He
has specialized in all forms of physician relationship
engineering: Strategy, coaching, interim management, staff
redesign, recruitment, realignment and problem solutions, bylaws
restructuring, quality assurance, TQM and compliance are a few
of the areas of note.

Margaret Theresa Franey-Thomas RN
Chief Operating Officer
Margaret is a Registered Nurse who practiced Pediatric,
Emergency and Trauma Nursing for over 10 years at Jackson
Memorial Hospital , where 150,000 patients per year were seen.
She finished her tenure there as an Assistant Head Nurse, where
she oversaw the nightly care of at least 110 injured patients
and where an average of 10 were major trauma victims.
She is responsible for the daily operation of Mentat Systems
Inc, coordinating financial, contractor and production
activities for the corporation. |
